ARTIFACTSAssessing Levels and Planning AccordinglyThere are many ways I assess present levels. Pre-tests allow me to see which students can be enriched for certain skills. Exit tickets and reflections provide insight to any adjustments needed for the following day. My plan book has notes based on small group outcomes.
Student Data and Interest SurveysMy student data binder houses current records, parent surveys, notes on SIRS/Child Study Meetings, copies of report cards, student work samples, and other artifacts that provide insight about my learners.
"I Have a Question"I use this card for a particular student who has a hard time verbalizing when he or she has a question about the task, skill, or content. This card allows me to check in with hopes to meet the student's social and emotional needs.
Creating Alternative Assessments and Adhering to IEPsDemonstrating knowledge of students means I must alter assessments and adhere to other IEP accommodations and modifications.
